Is anyone recycling these empty medicine blister packets? We’ve discovered that they can be recycled via www.terracycle.com
This is project is currently on hold as we couldn’t keep up with all your donations! Please continue to collect the foil blister packs for recycling and take them to Superdrug in Bath, Salisbury or Trowbridge at your convenience. We will let you know when we have a drop off point in Warminster again.
The good news is that we now have a permanent drop off point in town for your empty medication foil blister packs. The Warminster Action Group (WAG) now have a community hub in Chinns Court and there is a collection bin there. So drop in to the WAG House on Wednesdays and Fridays between 10am and 4pm with your blister packs.
We will regularly collect them from there and once we have accumulated a decent amount, we then plan a journey to Trowbridge in one of our committee members’ e-cars and deliver them all to Superdrug in one go, keeping it all as green as possible.
Superdrug liaise with Terracycle for their collections.
Another little something that won’t go to landfill. Thank you for participating! Every little bit helps
