Winter Fuel Payment

Over 800,000 pensioners are missing out on the Winter Fuel Payment because they are not claiming Pension Credit. Pension Credit gives you extra money to help with your living costs if you’re over State Pension age and on a low income, even if you have savings. Details and how to apply are here: https://www.gov.uk/pension-credit

If you were born before 23 September 1958 and get Pension Credit, Universal Credit, Income-related Support Allowance or Income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance you could get £200 or £300 to help you pay your heating bills for winter 2024 to 2025.
