PEB – Follow up meeting

PEOPLES EMERGENCY BRIEFING – FOLLOW UP

The meeting is on Wednesday 9th September, from 7:15 p.m. to 9:00 p.m, at the Cley Room, Warminster Civic Centre.

The screening was a long time ago, so to refresh our memories, there is loads of information on the NEB website, at https://www.nebriefing.org

If you didn’t manage to make the original screening, but are still interested, you are welcome to come to the meeting.

iRecord Training Day

We are planning an iRecord training day on Salisbury Plain, so bring your phones and identification skills for a walk and a lesson in how to record species seen on iRecord.
Spaces are limited and will be done on a ‘first come’ basis.

If you would like to attend please email Tilly via PlanB@sustainablewarminster.co.uk

Talk by Paul Jupp of Meadow in my Garden

This will be a strategic talk about biodiversity in our private gardens, and in public green spaces. When we tend our gardens with wildlife in mind we open up a world of possibility.

In the face of ever encroaching concrete and tarmac, loss of wild spaces and social isolation, we can and must make a positive difference. By reclaiming patches of ground for wildlife in our gardens and in our neighbourhoods, we can transform monoculture into something more colourful and meaningful as well as supporting vital pollinators.
